Full Description
The government appointed a public committee on 8 March 2024 that shall prepare a comprehensive knowledge basis on women's work health. Based on the knowledge basis, the committee shall further propose measures that can contribute to better work health and reduced absences and drop-out of working life for women. The selection is made up of representatives of the parties in working life and professional experts with relevant and multi-disciplinary competence. As a basis for the selection ́s assessment, there is a need for a general socio-economic calculation of the total costs and other effects connected to reduced women's occupation and women's absence, drop-out of, and reduced participation in working life. Furthermore, there is a need for an assessment of the benefits and potential connected to preventive and facilitating measures to promote good work health and work connection among women. The committee's review shall also include a review of the economic and administrative consequences of proposed measures. The Ministry of Labour and Inclusion has the administrative responsibility for the procurement. The Committee's secretariat will follow-up the project and be the assignment ́s point of contact. The assignment will be valid from signing the contract in 2024 until the delivery of the final report 1 March 2025, and has an upper economic limit of NOK 2 million excluding VAT. See annex 1 of the contract for further details on the delivery.
