Norway – Protective and safety clothing – Invitation to pre-qualification: Procurement of Aircrew Survival Vest (ASV) and Aircrew Plate Carrier (APC)

This sub-procurement concerns new survival remains for crew members in all of the Armed Forces helicopter types, including AW101-612 and MH-60R. ASV shall see to both the flotation function (rescue vest) and carrying the necessary survival equipment.

This sub-procurement applies to ballistic plate carriers for air crews operating in environments with an increased threat level, including maritime counter-terror operations. The plate carrier shall provide ballistic protection, be compatible with the Norwegian Defence ́s existing plates, and ensure sufficient mobility in combat situations and during demanding operations.
