Norway – Prisoner-transport vehicles – Cars with cells for the transport of prisoners, to the Correctional Service

The Directorate of Norwegian Correctional Service (henceforth referred to as KDI) shall, on behalf of the Norwegian Correctional Service units, enter into a framework agreement with a supplier for the procurement of a small cell vehicle with two cells behind and a large cell vehicle with 4 cells behind it for transporting prisoners and convicted prisoners. It is important that the contract ensures efficient systems for the delivery of new vehicles, as well as local access to a service workshop. The Norwegian Correctional Service is located throughout the country from Kristiansand in the south to Vadsø in the north, cf. Annex 10, Company Overview.
