This will include an evaluation of the existing supports received by broadcasters and representative bodies, with the aim of determining the optimal level of support for the sector and identifying appropriate financial support mechanisms. The Future of Media Commission (FOMC), in its Implementation Report, highlights the important role played by Community Media within the broader media landscape. It provides tailored content to individual communities, serves as a key source of local information, and contributes to strengthening community bonds.
