In summary, the Services comprise: The collection of leachate from the leachate storage tank and associated leachate chambers at Powerstown Landfill site and transportation to Mortarstown Waste Water Treatment Plant, Green Rd, Carlow, Co. Carlow. Carlow County Council operates and maintains Powerstown Landfill Site. The site cells are closed but monitoring on the site is ongoing. Carlow County Council require approximately 2,200 m3 of leachate to be removed from the landfill annually.
