Norway – Waste and rubbish containers and bins – Procurement of containers for food waste

MOVAR shall introduce the collection of food waste in Moss and Vestby municipalities during 2024 and 2025. The food waste shall be sorted into distributed biodegradable bags and placed in separate containers. A framework agreement shall thus be signed for the procurement of 140 litres of plastic waste containers, on wheels, for food waste. Major call-offs are planned for Moss and Vestby in 2024 and 2025, in order to provide all residence containers. Thereafter, the extent of the call-offs will decrease.
